Location: ROOTS RED SEA is situated in the desert next to the Red Sea, 80 Kilometres south of Safaga and 14 kilometres north of El Quseir. El Quseir is easily accessible from Roots by taxi or shuttle transfer. The property address and directions are:- ROOTS RED SEA - Kilo 14 Safaga Road, El Quseir, Red Sea, Egypt By Car: There is only one road it runs from Sokna in the north to the border of Sudan in the south. Driving from the North - Hurghada to Safaga to El Quseir - watch the Kilo markers after Safaga and the camp is on the right at Kilo 14. If you reach the Flamenco Hotel on the outskirts of El Quseir you have gone too far. Driving from the South - Marsa Alam city - Port Ghalib - El Quseir - continue north past the Hotel Flamenco, watch the Kilo markers the camp is on the left at kilo 14.

From the Airport: Marsa Alam is the closest at 85 kilometres however Hurghada has the most flights but is a little further at 120 kilometres. We can arrange airport transfer for you for an additional fee, alternatively a local taxi can be arranged directly outside the terminal but be sure they understand it's in El Quseir and fix the price before you start. There are no public transport connections from the airport. By Bus: From all towns and cities there are interconnecting local mini buses and some coach services, the quality and service varies dramatically but it can be a cheap means of transport. Roots provide free pick up and shuttle service from El Quseir Bus Station. Simply call to arrange collection.
